Emerald Group is looking for a professional, detail-oriented, and experienced Executive – Accounts to join our growing corporate team.
THE ROLE
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting and financial operations of Emerald Group’s businesses, including Restaurants, Cafeterias, Salon and Spas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Recording and maintaining daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledgers
• Performing cash, bank, sales, and expense reconciliations
• Monitoring daily sales collections and bank deposits
• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Reviewing and verifying invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents
• Assisting with monthly closing and preparation of financial statements and reports
• Preparing management reports, financial summaries, and other accounting analyses
• Monitoring outlet/branch-wise sales, costs, and operating expenses
• Assisting with VAT, tax, and other statutory compliance requirements
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors and maintaining audit documentation
• Ensuring proper accounting records, documentation, and internal controls are maintained
• Identifying accounting discrepancies and ensuring timely investigation and resolution
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
