Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's or Masters in Fine Arts / Graduation in Fashion Design and Technology/ Graduation in Fashion Studies.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Seeking an individual who:
∎ Consistently seeks out newness and further implements that into company product lines.
∎ Is proficient in all areas of the design process including but not limited to: market research, mood board creation, flat technical sketches, patternmaking, stitching and fit evaluations.
∎ Is comfortable working closely with suppliers and customers to meet their deadlines
∎ Is adept at managing multiple projects with different deadlines.
∎ Can ensure product sustainability is at the heart of the design process
∎ Maintains the T&A calendar for all new development samples & analyze fabric/trim requirements, washing requirements & ensure correct fits.
∎ Manages the setup of size specs/blocks & graded size charts for all product areas, ensuring all size specs/techpacks for development are issued ensuring continuity & consistency
∎ Ensures sampling requests are made through MIS with proper techpacks
∎ Ensures all customer requirements are met on new developments as per techpacks, measurements, packaging, and labelling details and flag any risks to the buyers in advance
∎ Works closely with the sample room and oversee the sampling process and identify possible problems or issues and help to resolve them.
∎ Assesses and evaluate fit on mannequins, live models, and 3D avatars along with the technical manager as and when required
∎ Manages and approve fabric testing & care label development with the Suppliers.
∎ Ensures approval of lab dips and strike-offs in a timely manner
∎ Facilitates the handover and costing process from sample to bulk
∎ Establishes a strong and competitive fabrics supplier base, both local and imported
∎ Sources new trims, prints, embroideries
∎ Updates the fabrics, trims, prints, wash and stitch library regularly and maintains all required technical details during the sample development process
∎ Conducts visits to factories to understand product/process mechanism, possibilities, and trends
∎ Keeps up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors, washes and shapes
∎ Has excellent presentation skills both physical & power point.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ 3/4 years experience required.
∎ Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator, Graphics Design, Sketching.
∎ An eye for color and a feel for fabrics and materials.
∎ Have good knowledge on photography
∎ Ability to generate ideas and concepts
∎ Should be fluent and efficient in both written and oral communication in English.
