Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Training Program Participation: Engage in a comprehensive training program designed to familiarize with the production processes, machinery operation, safety protocols, quality control measures, and company policies.
∎ Production Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the production line to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks. This involves observing workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency.
∎ Quality Control: Learn and implement quality control procedures to ensure that garments meet the required standards and specifications. This includes inspecting raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods for defects and inconsistencies.
∎ Machine Operation: Gain proficiency in operating various types of machinery and equipment used in garment production, such as sewing machines, cutting machines, and pressing machines. Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
∎ Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products. Learn inventory tracking systems and participate in periodic stocktaking activities.
∎ Workplace Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure working environment for all employees. Participate in safety training sessions and proactively identify potential hazards.
∎ Team Collaboration: Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and other team members to achieve production targets and resolve operational issues. Communicate effectively and contribute ideas for process improvement.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and other documentation as required by management. Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality inspections, and inventory transactions.
∎ Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in garment manufacturing. Actively seek opportunities for skill development and career advancement within the organization.
∎ Adherence to Policies and Regulations: Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations governing the garment manufacturing industry. Uphold ethical standards and contribute to a positive work culture.
