∎ Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the related field, including at least 6 years in a leadership position, demonstrating a track record of success in international mobilisation, policy advocacy, and alliance building.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the strategic development and scaling of the Shomotontro campaign in alignment with BRAC’s Gender Strategy goals to maximise impact.
∎ Guide and support the Shomotontro team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture for effective communication and coordination.
∎ Generate campaign ideas and execute strategies to ensure the effectiveness of the Shomotontro campaign.
∎ Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their support and commitment to the campaign's objectives, while representing the Shomotontro initiative internally and externally.
∎ Design workshops and communication strategies for public events.
∎ Oversee budgetary planning and resource allocation for the Shomotontro campaign.
∎ Promote a culture of innovation within the team, enabling the development of creative approaches to effectively address gender equality challenges and enhance the campaign's impact.

∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ The Lead will spearhead the development, planning and execution of strategies for the Shomotontro campaign. This role involves collaboration with sectoral heads across different fields, securing their support behind the campaign agenda, and transforming them into advocates for all Shomotontro initiatives. Shomotontro aims to involve leaders from various sectors and social strata who are positioned to stimulate action to combat patriarchy and gender stereotypes, aiming to foster a society where everyone is treated equally and can fully realise their potential. Furthermore, the campaign envisions facilitating discussions on how top sectoral leaders and multidisciplinary professionals from across the country can join the driving force of gender equality and form strong coalitions to work towards an equal world, free from discrimination.
∎ Fundamentally, the Lead will ensure the objectives are achieved and aligned with the Shomotontro campaign and BRAC’s Gender strategies.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
