【Job Context / Project Overview】
Sanwa Yushi Co., Ltd. is one of Japan's leading edible oil manufacturers specializing in high-grade Rice Bran Oil and nutrient-rich byproducts since 1949.
Bangladesh is one of the world's largest rice-producing nations, yet massive quantities of nutritious rice bran remain underutilized. Sanwa Yushi is actively planning to establish a state-of-the-art rice bran oil processing plant in Bangladesh to unlock this potential, raise rural household incomes, and foster sustainable industrial growth.
To realize this vision, we are hiring ambitious Bangladeshi engineering talents as Management Trainees. You will spend your first 3–5 years at our production hubs in Japan (Yamagata and Hokkaido), mastering world-class extraction technology, Japanese manufacturing standards (Kaizen/5S), and production facility management. Following this training, you will return to Bangladesh to take the helm as Plant Manager / Factory Leader for our new local facility.
【Key Responsibilities】
Phase 1: Production Engineering & Manufacturing Mastery (Years 1–2 in Japan)
- Work closely on the factory floor to operate and understand rice bran oil extraction, refining, and packaging machinery.
- Master quality control, machine maintenance, hazard prevention, and Japanese manufacturing safety standards.
- Undergo specialized technical rotation/training at our production facility in Hokkaido (approx. 6 months).
Phase 2: Management & Bangladesh Project Preparation (Years 3–4 in Japan)
- Supervise daily manufacturing shifts, process optimization, and production scheduling.
- Participate directly in the engineering design, machinery procurement, and operational planning for the upcoming Bangladesh manufacturing plant.
Phase 3: Plant Leadership in Bangladesh (Year 5 onwards)
- Relocate to Bangladesh as Factory Manager / Plant Leader.
- Oversee the launch, commissioning, and regular operations of the new manufacturing facility.
- Manage local workforce, coordinate with Japanese headquarters, and drive the expansion of our edible oil business across Bangladesh.

- Initial / Training Period (approx. 3–5 years): Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan (with approx. 6 months rotational training in Hokkaido).
- Future Assignment: Bangladesh (New Plant Location).
【Educational Requirements】
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Food Engineering, or related disciplines preferred).
- Non-engineering graduates with strong technical aptitude and high motivation for manufacturing leadership are also welcome to apply.

- Fresh Graduates, Entry-Level Engineers, or professionals with 1–3 years of experience.

【Compensation & Benefits (During Assignment in Japan)】
- Basic Salary: JPY 200,000 – JPY 220,000 / month (Overtime allowance paid separately in accordance with Japanese labor regulations).
- Work Hours: 08:15 – 17:00 (70 minutes break).
【Selection Process】

4. Job Offer: Final result delivered within approximately 2 months from application.
