Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and oversee the annual IT budget, optimizing resource allocation for peak project execution and cost-effectiveness
∎ Provide expert guidance and establish quality measures for timely and responsive IT support to all staff
∎ Formulate and implement effective strategies and guidelines for the smooth and efficient functioning of the HCMP IT department
∎ Ensure comprehensive data and device security across network platforms through proactive security measures and ongoing vigilance
∎ Contribute to and support the creation of accurate and detailed Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) based on user needs
∎ Maintain open and efficient communication with all sectors and units to ensure timely responses to IT support requests
∎ Submit timely management reports providing insightful observations on overall IT support performance and comprehensive IT asset tracking
∎ Implement and monitor control mechanisms for optimal performance and efficiency of computer systems and network infrastructure
∎ Develop and maintain a robust asset tracking system encompassing all IT assets within HCMP
∎ Foster the continuous capacity building of IT staff, ensuring user-friendly IT services and expertise
∎ Craft clear, concise, and comprehensive IT policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
∎ Implement and maintain meticulous control over the inventory of all hardware products and software licenses
∎ Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and cybersecurity risks, providing strategic guidance on potential adoption and mitigation strategies
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and also encourage others to do so.
∎ This position will be responsible for ensuring IT support to all staff of HCMP under the supervision of Head of Admin and Operations HCMP.
