Job Context
Green Life Hospital Ltd. a renowned hospital at Dhaka is looking for Medical Technologist (Transfusion Medicine/ Blood Bank) personnel in the following position.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and Register blood donors and verify donor eligibility.
Conduct donor history taking and assist with preliminary health assessments according to approved protocols.
Perform blood collection using aseptic techniques.
Monitor donors during and after donation and manage initial responses to donor reactions.
Ensure proper labeling, identification, storage, and transportation of collected blood.
Perform Blood Grouping and Compatibility Testing.
Blood Component Preparation and Processing (PRBCs, FFP, Platelet concentrates etc.)
Screening and Quality Control (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis etc.)
Blood Storage and Inventory Management.
Blood Issue and Transfusion Support.
Equipment Maintenance and Biosafety.
Ensure Proper Documentation and Reporting.
