Minimum 8–10 years of experience in footwear manufacturing, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of leather, synthetic, PU and non-leather footwear production.Proven experience in production planning, line balancing, efficiency improvement and team management.Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context
Oversee and manage the entire footwear production process, ensuring smooth and efficient factory operations.
Prepare and execute production plans to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.
Ensure timely completion of production orders in line with buyer requirements and shipment deadlines.
Monitor production efficiency, line productivity, manpower utilization and material wastage.
Work closely with Quality, Merchandising, Planning, Technical and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Take ownership of production-related quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring defects.
Supervise production supervisors and line leaders, ensuring discipline, accountability and performance.
Prepare regular production reports and provide updates on targets, achievements and operational challenges.
