Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Make sure KPI of Observed Quality Level (OQL) is maintained below given target with stability to meet defined Accepted Quality Level (AQL).
∎ • Monitor effectiveness of supplier’s Quality Management System (QMS) and provide insight to line manager for necessary development areas.
∎ • Monitor suppliers top three defects and relevant reports, root cause analysis and corrective actions with proper coaching and guiding.
∎ • Work with line manager to initiate and follow up CAPs for necessary improvement areas for quality, product safety, process management and general.
∎ • Monitor the workload of assigned factories in weekly and monthly basis and update line manager of feasibility for executing assigned work
∎ • Make sure all necessary events of PPM, In line audits, Final Inspections are executed on time
∎ • Monitor quantity and quality of the work of Certified Auditors (CAs) plus guide them to follow Carter’s standards
∎ • Train and Coach CAs time to time in order to update them to all Carter’s on-going changes.
∎ • Monitor factory production and schedule to make sure PPM are carried out for all necessary styles base on risk assessment.
∎ • Make sure all product safety concerns / elements (e.g. Prong ring fasteners, buttons, buttons, studs, bows, draw codes, appliques etc.) are addressed to meet standards in pre-production level.
∎ • Review factory audit scheduling requests to confirm schedule planning and conduct defined number of Correlation audits against the total CA audits
∎ • Both product-construction audit and packaging audit are to be completed; combined PO/line audits to be done as much as possible depending on factory production.
∎ • Ensure same-day notification of any failed audit to designated CGS management.
∎ • Execute all system updates in timely manner.
∎ • Report important observations or changes to factory situations regarding management, customer base, equipment investments, capacity expansion, etc.
∎ • Be flexible to meet assignments and travel requirements to support CGS Quality Objectives.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 59 years
∎ • System savvy – ability to work on eSPS with data accuracy and having excellent skills on Excel and MS office applications operating system.
∎ • Experience in handling Baby/Children-wear products and possess product safety knowledge is preferred.
∎ • Experience in US/Canada market is preferable.
∎ • Able to work under pressure, self-motivated, responsible and can work independently.
∎ • Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with different parties.
