Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation / Post Graduation in Textile Engineering / Physics / Chemistry or any Science background.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: ISO 17025
∎ Skills Required: Communication skill, Decision Making skill, Team Leadership

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting all allotted fibre analysis like: microscopical, chemical, and burning tests as per the procedure as well as fibre labeling for different market US, EU, GB and Canadian and/or SOP gave in the worksheet or as instructed by the Group Leader or above.
∎ Conducting all allotted flammability tests 16 CFR 1610, 16 CFR 1615/1616 and European night ware, Canadian flammability, and Australasian flammability as per the procedure and/or SOP given in the worksheet or as instructed by the Group Leader or above.
∎ Responsible for all supervision of all testing activity.
∎ Monitoring the progress of the tests.
∎ Performing reviewing/checking on test reports from laboratory staff and/or other offices to ensure that the reports are up to the customer’s requirement.
∎ Supervise all kinds of correlation as well as proficiency test up to result along with arrange to send the tested specimen & test report to related Client/organization.
∎ Ensure the stock of consumable items is maintained properly and acknowledge to the management whenever necessary to place the order.
∎ Ensuring that the required environmental conditions are maintained properly.
∎ Acknowledge to superior when any equipment needs calibration or maintenance.
∎ Ensuring good housekeeping of the laboratory.
∎ Answering the customer over phone or mail of any technical issue with the help of superior when necessary.
∎ Monitoring the performance of the staff.
∎ Arranging training to subordinates and keeps training records.
∎ Managing and developing a team of laboratory staff and supervising them for completing the testing on time and to customer satisfaction.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Awareness training of ISO 17025.
∎ Test method technical training.
∎ Audit preparation training.
