Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities and manpower.
Plan and assign jobs to technicians, mechanics, fabricators, and other workshop staff.
Monitor repair, maintenance, fabrication, and servicing work to ensure quality and timely completion.
Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with technical specifications and company standards.
Monitor the use of workshop tools, machinery, equipment, and materials.
Identify mechanical or technical problems and coordinate necessary corrective actions.
Maintain records of workshop activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment usage.
Ensure proper housekeeping, workplace safety, and safe operation of workshop equipment.
Coordinate with management and other departments regarding workshop requirements and work progress.
Train, guide, and supervise workshop personnel to improve productivity and work quality.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in workshop operations and maintenance.
Good knowledge of workshop machinery, tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and manpower-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
