Responsibilities & Context
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of thermoforming molds.
Inspect molds for wear, damage, defects, and other abnormalities and take corrective action.
Assemble, disassemble, and adjust molds according to production requirements.
Ensure proper mold alignment, cooling, and functionality.
Support mold changeovers to reduce production downtime and improve efficiency.
Modify and adjust molds when required to improve product quality and machine performance.
Collaborate with Production and Quality Teams to identify and resolve product defects.
Maintain accurate records of mold maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
Assist with new mold trials and production start-ups.
Ensure molds are properly prepared and maintained for continuous production.
Follow company procedures and maintain compliance with workplace safety standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong knowledge of thermoforming molds and mold structures.
Practical knowledge of mold maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to use hand tools, machining tools, and measuring instruments.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and cooling systems.
Good understanding of mold alignment, adjustment, and changeover procedures.
Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively with production and quality teams.

A skilled Mold Supervisor/Technician with hands-on experience in thermoforming mold maintenance, repair, adjustment, and changeover, with the ability to troubleshoot mold-related problems and support smooth, efficient production.
