Responsibilities & Context
Maintain daily accounting records, including cash, bank, sales, purchases, and expenses.
Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, bills, receipts, and payment documents.
Record all financial transactions accurately in accounting software or Excel such as Tally or ERP.
Maintain cash book, bank book, ledger, and journal entries.
Handle petty cash and ensure proper documentation of all expenditures.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
Perform regular bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in preparing organizational budgets and monitor budget utilization.
Check bills and supporting documents before processing payments.
Prepare payroll-related calculations and maintain salary records when required.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit purposes.
Assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary documents and explanations.
Monitor inventory-related financial records and reconcile stock with accounting records when applicable.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
Key Skills :
