Bengal Airlift Limited, a leading General Sales Agent (GSA) representing several international airlines, is seeking potential candidates for its Reservation & Ticketing Department under different Airline Divisions. The opportunity includes working with FitsAir, Sri Lanka’s first private airline, connecting Dhaka with Colombo and other key destinations. Role Purpose:

To drive passenger sales and revenue growth for FitsAir by developing and maintaining relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other sales channels, while promoting the airline’s routes, fares, and services in the Bangladesh market.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation: Achieve assigned passenger sales targets by promoting FitsAir’s routes, fares, and travel products to generate bookings and revenue.

Travel Agent Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, consolidators, and other distribution partners to increase passenger bookings.

Corporate Sales & Business Development: Identify and approach potential corporate clients, business travelers, and new market segments to expand the airline’s customer base.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor fares, route performance, and customer demand to identify sales opportunities and recommend appropriate strategies.

Booking & Ticketing Coordination: Coordinate with reservations and ticketing teams to support booking inquiries, fare quotations, ticket issuance, and other passenger sales-related requirements.

Promotional Activities: Communicate airline offers, fare promotions, route updates, and new services to travel agents and prospective customers to stimulate demand.

Sales Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance against assigned targets, analyze booking trends, and prepare regular sales reports for management.

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with travel partners and customers, address sales-related concerns, and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.

Revenue & Payment Follow-up: Follow up on outstanding payments from sales partners, where applicable, and coordinate with Finance to support timely settlement and compliance with approved credit policies.

Internal Coordination: Work closely with reservations, ticketing, finance, marketing, and airline operations teams to ensure smooth execution of passenger sales activities.

Sales Network Expansion: Identify new travel agents and distribution opportunities, conduct sales visits, and strengthen FitsAir’s market presence in Bangladesh.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that sales activities comply with company policies, airline commercial guidelines, approved fare structures, and applicable industry requirements.
