Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support for Programme Focal Person for efficient handling of the activities, connect HO with field and promote organizational best practices within the Sector’s operational areas.
∎ Support the Programme Focal Person for the efficient handling of the emergency project both for Cox’s Bazar (CxB) and Bhasan Char (BC).
∎ Connect Head Office (HO) with field operational areas for all logistics issues.
∎ Keep liaison with Administration, Human Resource (HR), Procurement, Finance, Infrastructural Development-ID, MIS and other central support units and ensure that the resources, materials & necessary things are timely delivered for Rohingya projects and as & when need for north.
∎ Assist in reviewing monthly, Quarterly and yearly project and individual workplans and provide operational support for the project.
∎ Attend the necessary meeting, workshops and training sessions as required, prepare meeting/report and track the progress for Rohingya project and north.
∎ Ensure programmatic support for UNICEF Quarterly DCT, Reimbursement, Liquidation, Progress narrative report and Partner Reporting Portal (PRP).
∎ Follow up on activities, reports & performance towards Programme Document (PD) indicators.
∎ Support to analyze the progress, learning outcomes, enrollment rates, community engagement and impact of education initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Ensure programmatic support for organizational Strategic Action Planning (SAP) issues and MRP input.
∎ Coordinate for the implementation of the activities related to matching fund (FD-7) provided by Friendship International (FI) for UNICEF Project.
∎ Promote organizational best practices like Code of Ethics, gardening, Clean LC-Clean Home and wall-magazine through Learning Facilities in Camps and Friendship Secondary schools in north.
∎ Support the supervisor in staffs’ management, placement and appraisal through field monitoring, assessment & evaluation.
∎ Conduct field visit both for Rohingya projects and regular project in north under Education Sector.
∎ Any other task assigned by the supervisor/management
∎ Master’s degree in Education or Social Sciences.
∎ Proven experience (typically more than 4 years) in education or humanitarian projects, preferably in refugee settings.
∎ Effective written and verbal communication in English and Bangla.
∎ Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
∎ Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
∎ Capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
∎ Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and address unexpected challenges.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills to find practical and effective solutions.
