AkijBashir Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Asst. Officer-VAT to oversee the maintenance of Mushak-6.3 (VAT Register), preparation and recordation of purchase entries (Mushak-6.1) and ensure proper adjustment of input tax credit (rebate) through Mushak-6.1 and other VAT-related works for smooth factory operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and update Mushak-6.3 (VAT Register) and other VAT-related records as required by law.
Prepare and record Purchase Entries and ensure proper adjustment of Input Tax Credit (Rebate) through Mushak-6.1.
Prepare and maintain Daily Production Entries (Mushak-6.2) accurately and on time.
Prepare and process VAT Deduction at Source (VDS) documents through Mushak-6.6.
Receive, verify, organize, and file all VAT-related documents and records systematically.
Create and maintain new product codes in ERP systems and process Price Declarations as per VAT requirements.
Prepare and maintain Manual Daily Sales Sheets and ensure consistency with ERP and VAT records.
Ensure proper documentation and record retention for audit and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with production, sales, procurement, and accounts departments for VAT-related information and reconciliations.
Assist in VAT return preparation, compliance activities, and regulatory reporting.
Support internal and external VAT audits by providing necessary documents and information.
Perform day-to-day VAT and compliance-related tasks assigned by management.
