Responsibilities & Context
Must have experience operating CNC cutting machines, specifically laser or plasma cutting machines.
Operate and monitor CNC laser and plasma cutting equipment for metal fabrication.
Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting layouts and measurements.
Set machine parameters, cutting speed and other settings according to material thickness and job requirements.
Perform cutting operations accurately and maintain required quality standards.
Inspect finished components and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.
