Support compliance with applicable product safety, chemical restrictions, environmental, sustainability, labeling, packaging, and extended producer responsibility (EPR) requirements.
Maintain updated regulatory compliance records, product declarations, supplier documents, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to collect and verify compliance-related information.
Support regulatory assessments, compliance gap analysis, internal audits, and corrective action plans.
Identify potential compliance risks and escalate regulatory changes or non-compliance issues to management.
2. Digital Product Passport (DPP)
Support the preparation and implementation of Digital Product Passport requirements applicable to relevant products under EU legislation.
Coordinate the collection, verification, and maintenance of product information, including material composition, product identification, traceability, durability, repairability, and end-of-life information, where applicable.
Collaborate with sourcing, product development, suppliers, and IT teams to ensure product data is accurate, consistent, and accessible.
Maintain product-level documentation and supply chain data to support traceability and future DPP implementation.
Monitor relevant EU Eco design for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) developments and applicable product-specific requirements.
3. Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)
Support compliance with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and other applicable packaging requirements.
Coordinate the collection and review of packaging specifications, material composition, packaging weights, recyclability information, and supplier declarations.
Work with packaging suppliers and internal teams to identify opportunities to reduce packaging waste and improve recyclability and material efficiency.
Maintain packaging compliance documentation and support packaging assessments against applicable requirements.
Assist with packaging data reporting, restricted substance checks, and EPR-related information collection, where applicable.
Support the evaluation of alternative and more sustainable packaging materials.
4. Supply Chain Compliance and Traceability
Coordinate with suppliers, factories, mills, and other supply chain partners to collect and validate compliance documents and sustainability data.
Maintain accurate records of suppliers, raw materials, product specifications, certifications, declarations, and traceability information.
Support supplier onboarding, compliance assessments, audits, and follow-up actions.
Monitor the completeness and validity of supplier documentation and certification records.
Work cross-functionally with merchandising, sourcing, production, quality assurance, and sustainability teams to resolve compliance gaps.
Promote transparency, responsible sourcing, and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
5. Garment Products and Packaging Materials
Develop and maintain a working understanding of garment construction, textile composition, trims, accessories, and product labeling.
Understand common packaging materials, including paper, cardboard, plastic, polybags, cartons, labels, hangtags, and other packaging components.
Review product and packaging specifications to support regulatory and customer compliance assessments.
Coordinate material declarations, test reports, certificates, and other technical documents from suppliers.
