Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate records in our databases and systems. The ideal candidate has fast and accurate typing skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with database software and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities
Data Input: Enter high-volume alphanumeric data from source documents into software databases, spreadsheets, or management systems accurately and efficiently.
Verification & Auditing: Review entered data for accuracy, completeness, and errors; make necessary corrections or flag discrepancies.
File & Record Maintenance: Organize, update, and manage electronic files, documents, and database backups according to company guidelines.
Information Retrieval: Locate and retrieve requested files or specific data points for team members in a timely manner.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality standards regarding sensitive company, customer, or business data.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role preferred.
Skills:
Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum [e.g., 30–40] WPM).
High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
Strong attention to detail and accurate data verification abilities.
Basic understanding of data confidentiality principles.
Good time-management and multi-tasking skills.
