Executive – Research & Development (R&D) / Denim Weaving Mill

• Age 25 to 40 years

Weaving R&D & Construction: Design and execute new fabric weave structures (Denim, Twill, Satin, Dobby, etc.) and analyze warp/weft combinations using various yarn types (Slub, Spandex, Tencel, Dual-Core, etc.). Fabric Costing & Pricing: Calculate accurate denim fabric consumption, yarn yield, and manufacturing costs (weaving, dyeing, finishing overheads) to prepare competitive cost sheets for various fabric constructions. Weaving Defects & Troubleshooting: Identify and quickly resolve weaving defects (e.g., Weft Directional Defects, Reed Marks, Bowing, Skewness, Tension/Shedding Issues, Starting Marks) during both sample development and production runs. Dyeing & Finishing Integration: Work closely with Dyeing (Slasher/Rope) and Finishing teams to ensure the developed denim fabric responds accurately to shade parameters, shrinkage control, and washing effects. Lab-to-Bulk Quality Control: Monitor fabric parameters such as GSM, Fabric Construction and Shrinkage from R&D to bulk execution. Documentation: Maintain accurate Delivery challan, Delivery Bill, loom technical sheets, recipe logs, construction parameters. Customer Handling & Technical Support: Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and buyers, understanding their fabric requirements, presenting new developed swatches, and providing solutions for customized constructions or washing targets.
