∎ Master's Degree in any relevant discipline from a reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ According to the SOP, search and analyze potential calls (RFP/ EoI/ REoI/ RFQ).
∎ Identify potential clients and collect the information of the key personnel within the client organization.
∎ Identify potential calls as per organizational business strategy and conduct meeting with management and brief them about calls and requirements.
∎ Attend pre-bid meetings and other business-related discussions.
∎ Identify and collaborate with suitable partners for Joint Venture (JV) submission if required.
∎ Identify and communicate with key experts and collect updated CV and consent paper.
∎ Work with the team in developing proposals (e.g., CV formatting, budget preparation, fill out vendor information form) per the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
∎ Maintain databases of all respective stakeholders relevant to the business communication.
∎ Close new business deals by conducting necessary tasks such as preparing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
∎ Maintain regular communication with existing and previous clients to inform them about new services of the
∎ organization and bring new business from them.
∎ Attend relevant development events, and provide feedback about market demand and current trends.
∎ Identify the opportunities for collaboration with different sector leaders, development partners, donors, government agencies, universities, and institutions.
∎ Regularly update and maintain various database related to business development e.g., Consultant pool, government organization, INGOs, Bi-lateral organizations, development banks and UN agencies.
∎ Support supervisor to develop the strategic plan for the development of the organization.
∎ Communicate with relevant stakeholders for proposal submission.
∎ Maintain regular basis updates on assigned tasks.
∎ Report on successes and areas needing improvements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least two years of hands-on experience in the field of business development or resource mobilization, preferably in consultancy, research and development sector.
∎ possess good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
∎ possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Bangla and English
∎ have good organizational and administrative skills
∎ have a good understanding and hands-on experience of working in/with networks, databases, and other cloud-based applications.
∎ have sound knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
∎ have problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
∎ have the ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously
∎ have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
∎ be a self-starter
Salary:
∎ BDT 30,000-BDT 70,000
Salary and position will be determined based on experience, skills, and the outcome of the recruitment assessment.
