∎ Excellent understanding of business and financial planning, including strategic modelling·
∎ Proficiency in budgeting and budget management·
∎ Strong business acumen and the ability to contribute to strategic decisions·
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills·
∎ Full proficiency in written and verbal English Job Responsibilities: Financial Governance/Compliance·
∎ Ensure country operations comply with local laws, grant audit requirements, tax and VAT laws, and adherence to compliance policies and procedures· Calculate TDS and VDS on subcontract party bills, prepare and submit monthly reports·
∎ Coordinate with various departments for smooth functioning·
∎ Collaborate with department heads to upgrade internal controls, reporting systems, corporate policies, and procedures and refine financial protocols, processes, and internal controls·Lead daily financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, payroll, and periodic monetary reporting·
∎ Generate and scrutinise financial documents, such as statements, budgets, and forecasts·
∎ Liaise with external audit teams, tax bodies, and economic regulators to ensure compliance·
∎ Monitor and strategise cash flow and banking functions·
∎ Analyse financial trends, and advocate for cost optimisation, revenue opportunities, and economic growth·
∎ Safeguard company assets through robust internal controls·
∎ Ensure timely filing of all relevant tax documents, including VAT and income tax·
∎ Nurture relationships with banks, financial entities, and stakeholders for optimal financial services·
∎ Provide strategic financial perspectives to the executive team for business planning and decision-making·
∎ Review and verify the accuracy of salary sheets·
∎ Collaborate with the factory head for precise budgeting and adherence to budgets.·
∎ Supervise Worker Provident Fund (PF) operations.·
∎ Evaluate fund requests, ensuring alignment with budgets, policy validation, approval, and liaison with the UK head office for timely processing.·
∎ Post costing of shipments as per Merchandiser budget·
∎ Implement ERP systems· Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by management
