Responsibilities & Context
- Lead the design department and establish the seasonal design direction for denim & woven/cotton collections.
- Drive trend forecasting, concept development, mood boards, color palettes, and customer presentations.
- Develop innovative and commercially successful denim trousers, jackets & shirts for global retailers.
- Lead customer meetings and product strategy discussions with Inditex, H&M, UNIQLO and other international brands.
- Oversee prototypes, sampling, fittings, and final product approvals to ensure quality, fit, and commercially feasible Product.
- Coordinate closely with merchandising, sourcing, technical, wash development, and production teams for timely execution.
- Mentor the design team, strengthen design capabilities, and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Identify new product and market opportunities that support business growth.
- Travel internationally for customer visits, fabric sourcing, mills, manufacturers, exhibitions, and trade fairs.
