Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities
Operate the plastic waste baling machine safely and efficiently.
Feed sorted plastic waste into the machine according to operating procedures.
Compress plastic waste into properly sized, compact bales.
Monitor bale density, shape, size, and overall quality.
Secure completed bales using appropriate strapping or binding materials.
Remove completed bales and arrange them in designated storage areas.
Inspect the machine before and during operation to identify faults or abnormalities.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance as authorized.
Report mechanical problems, breakdowns, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
Maintain daily records of the number of bales produced and machine downtime.
Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean and organized.
Follow workplace safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Candidates from Narayanganj area are preferable.
Experience
Previous experience operating a hydraulic baling machine or plastic waste baler is preferred.
Candidates with relevant industrial machine operating experience may also apply.
