Responsibilities & Context
The management of a reputed group of companies owning 100% export-oriented woven and knit garments industry is looking for a qualified “Mechanical Manager” for immediate appointment.
Inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot sewing machines and other production machinery.
Conduct preventive and routine maintenance of machines according to the maintenance schedule.
Identify machine faults and take appropriate corrective action to minimize downtime.
Install, adjust, and set up machines according to production requirements.
Ensure machines are properly adjusted before starting production.
Maintain records of machine maintenance, repair, breakdown,and replacement of spare parts.
Coordinate with the Production and Engineering departments regarding machine-related issues.
Ensure strict compliance with occupational safety standards, environmental guidelines, and buyer technical audit criteria.
Check machine safety guards and other safety features and report unsafe conditions.
Replace defective parts and ensure proper functioning of repaired machines.
Monitor machine performance and recommend necessary maintenance or replacement.
Maintain adequate stocks of essential machine spare parts and accessories, as assigned.
Follow applicable safety procedures while performing maintenance and repair work.
Support production teams during machine breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements.
