Responsibilities & Context
Source fabrics (knit, woven, denim) and trims & accessories as per buyer requirements.
Purchase printing chemicals, inks, pigments, emulsions, screens, and maintain consumables & spare parts for printing machines.
Arrange embroidery threads, bobbins, backing, topping film, needles, oils, lubricants, and spare parts for embroidery machines.
Purchase washing chemicals and spare parts for washing machines, dryers, boilers, and WTP.
Source spare parts for sewing, cutting, finishing, ironing, compressors, generators, and other machinery.
Procure lubricants, tools, safety gear, and consumables.
Develop & manage suppliers (local & international), negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory, coordinate with store & production for forecasting, and ensure cost control with minimal wastage.
