Responsibilities & Context
Develop lab dips and ensure accurate shade matching as per buyer standards.
Prepare dyeing recipes for fabric, yarn, and lace materials.
Conduct color matching and correction using laboratory dyeing equipment.
Operate laboratory dyeing machines and color measurement equipment, including spectrophotometers.
Maintain consistency between laboratory samples and bulk production.
Perform colorfastness testing, including washing, rubbing, perspiration, and other required tests.
Monitor dyestuff and chemical consumption and ensure accurate recipe preparation.
Identify and troubleshoot shade variations and dyeing-related technical problems.
Maintain proper laboratory records, test reports, and approved shade standards.
Coordinate with the Dyeing Master, Production, and Quality teams to ensure smooth production.
