• Strong understanding of ledger reconciliation and year-end adjustment entries.

• Ability to identify accounting discrepancies and make necessary corrections.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Confidence Infrastructure PLC is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Executive – Taxation to join its Finance & Accounts team.

The role is responsible for preparing, recording, updating, and reconciling accounting transactions in Tally ERP/Prime based on supporting documents and audited financial statements. The position also supports taxation compliance by maintaining accurate accounting records, performing ledger reconciliations, preparing year-end adjustment entries, and ensuring compliance with applicable Income Tax and VAT regulations.


Accounting & Tally Operations:

• Prepare and post accounting entries in Tally ERP/Prime based on invoices, bills, vouchers, bank statements, and supporting documents.

• Update and reconcile accounting records with audited financial statements.

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, expenses, fixed assets, and other accounting transactions.

• Prepare adjustment entries, provisions, depreciation, accruals, and year-end accounting entries as instructed.

• Ensure proper classification of income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and ledger accounts.

Taxation & Compliance:

• Support taxation-related accounting activities in compliance with company policies.

• Maintain updated knowledge of TDS, VDS, and regulatory compliance requirements under the Income Tax Act 2023 and Finance Act 2026.

• Assist in maintaining proper documentation for taxation and statutory compliance.

Reconciliation & Reporting:

• Perform ledger reconciliation and identify accounting discrepancies.

• Maintain complete supporting documents for all accounting transactions.

• Coordinate with the Finance & Accounts team to resolve accounting issues and ensure data accuracy.

• Ensure confidentiality, completeness, and accuracy of financial records.

• Perform any other accounting and taxation-related responsibilities assigned by management.
