About HireFox
At HireFox, we believe great engineering talent shouldn't be limited by geography. We're on a mission to connect exceptional software engineers with ambitious technology companies, creating opportunities for talented professionals to build meaningful careers while helping businesses grow.
Headquartered in Canada, HireFox specializes in building and supporting distributed engineering teams. We partner with Canadian technology companies to help them expand their engineering capabilities by connecting them with experienced software engineers from Bangladesh.
We're more than a recruitment agency. Our engineers are full-time, permanent employees of HireFox. We manage employment, payroll, benefits, and ongoing support, providing the stability of long-term employment alongside the opportunity to work on exciting products with international teams.
Unlike traditional contract placements, your employment with HireFox is not tied to a single client or project. You'll remain a HireFox employee and continue receiving your salary even between client assignments.
Our goal is simple: to give talented engineers in Bangladesh the opportunity to build rewarding international careers without having to relocate.
About the Role
We're looking for experienced and passionate Senior Software Engineers to join our growing engineering talent team in Bangladesh.
As a Senior Software Engineer at HireFox, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with engineering teams at Canadian technology companies, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of real-world software products.
Depending on your expertise and the needs of our clients, you may work across different technologies, industries, and engineering environments throughout your career with HireFox.
You'll collaborate with developers, engineering managers, product managers, and other stakeholders to solve challenging technical problems, deliver high-quality software, and help build products used by customers around the world.
We value engineers who take ownership of their work, communicate effectively, think critically, and are continuously looking for opportunities to learn and improve.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, production-grade software applications.
Collaborate directly with Canadian engineering teams as an integrated member of their development organization.
Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, code reviews, and engineering planning.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
Take ownership of features and technical initiatives from design through implementation.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and contribute to continuous improvements.
Adapt to different engineering environments, technologies, and business requirements across client assignments.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in at least one modern programming language or technology stack.
Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production software.
Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and engineering best practices.
Experience working with modern development workflows, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to engineering excellence.
Experience working with international or North American engineering teams is an asset, but not required.
