Responsibilities & Context
As our Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
Daily Transactions: Keep track of day-to-day expenditures made in cash and ensure proper documentation.
Payroll & Banking: Process employee salaries through banking channels and manage related deductions.
Tax & Compliance: Handle AIT (Advance Income Tax) and VAT calculations, filings, and compliance.
Administrative: Monitor and record administrative expenses to ensure budget adherence. Also co-ordinate with Project Managers/Accountants of remote projects.
Inventory Management: Maintain records of office and project inventories.
Income Tax Services: Prepare and manage corporate income tax returns and related documentation.
Audit Preparation: Ensure company accounts are up-to-date and readily available for internal and external audits.
Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
