Job Context:
∎ Karmojibi Nari (KN) is going to start a new project titled `Just Transition to Sustainable Economies: Ensuring Labor`. Applications are called for the post of Advocacy Officer in this project.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with frequent field visits.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the overall supervision of Additional Executive Director and direct supervision of Project Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible to work in implementation of Just Transition to Sustainable Economies: Ensuring Labor Rights project and organize national level advocacy and skills training for finalize and implement Advocacy Plan.
∎ The successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks:
∎ S/he will conduct advocacy related activities in project areas.
∎ S/he will be responsible for finalize and internally communicate for Advocacy Plan.
∎ S/He will organize events, meetings and campaigns to ensure that the advocacy plan is active and moving forwards.
∎ S/he will assist to organize seminars, consultations, workshops and trainings with Stakeholders.
∎ S/he will assist to conduct local community level and national level lobby meeting and expert consultation meetings.
∎ S/he will organize events, meetings and campaigns to ensure that the advocacy plan is active and moving forwards.
∎ S/he will collect success stories and other positive achievements for sharing, learning and advocacy.
∎ S/he will assist the focal person for the successful implementation of the project.
∎ S/he will develop weekly and monthly activity plan and submit Monthly Progress Report.
∎ S/he will support to consultant/focal person to publish Report and Publication.
∎ S/he will assist in preparing ICT materials and publications.
∎ S/he will assist with the preparation of the video documentary.
∎ S/he will perform any other work assigned by the focal person and KN authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Proficiency in using Advocacy tools
∎ Males are encouraged to apply
∎ Good command in MS Office, internet and other IT applications
∎ Good team management and interaction capacity will be preferred
∎ Applicants must have COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
Salary: Negotiable
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Facilities will be provided as per organization & Project Policy after confirmation.
∎ Two days' weekend (Friday & Saturday)
