Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/ M.Sc in Textile engineering (Wet Process Technology) or B.Sc / M.Sc in applied chemistry or B.Sc/ M.Sc in Chemical engineering.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
fabric technology
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise laboratory coloration work and ensure it is carried out in compliance with the requirements of the specification.
∎ Responsible for all technical issues regarding color test.
∎ Planning & implementation on quality, cost & consumption management.
∎ Manage color development of lab dips/new sample.
∎ Visually approve all colors for multiple fabrications of lab dips & also finished sample/bulk lots for all buyers.
∎ Responsible for color correction guidelines & adjustment in recipes to color technicians.
∎ Create and maintain all color attributes, lab dips & physical color library of all buyer.
∎ Work out on daily production report & monthly data analysis on RFT%.
∎ Give guideline to color technicians about new dyes/chemical characteristics, dyeing process, recipe formulation or others so on.
∎ Find out root cause against any fail, make corrective & preventive action to save process loss.
∎ Maintains liaison with merchandising department for new shade development or lab dip.
∎ Ensure on time submission & on time approval (counter, PP etc) to maintain the bulk order smoothly.
∎ Carry out any other jobs assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Preference will be given to H&M nominated colorists.
∎ Strong sense of fiber/fabric technology, fiber composition & color & test assessment.
∎ Should have strong technical knowledge on Fabric Manufacturing process.
∎ Experience in textile color & testing technology.
∎ Should have strong knowledge of different types of dyes & chemicals.
∎ Should have capability to develop new process.
