Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Maintain accounts for real estate projects, including project expenses, construction costs, payments, receivables, and project-wise profitability.
Handle import-export accounting, including import costing, shipment expenses, supplier payments, customs duty, VAT, and related charges.
Maintain LC, bank transactions, foreign remittances, foreign currency transactions, and import-export payment records.
Monitor project budgets, cash flow, income, expenditure, and outstanding balances.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable VAT, tax, TDS, and other financial regulations in Bangladesh.
Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, commercial teams, auditors, and relevant authorities.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and audit documents while maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls.
