Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Diploma / Bachelors in Social Science / Developmental Studies or any other related field subject.
∎ Training in Nursing or Midwifery will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Frequent travel to field sites to conduct interviews.
∎ Identification of potential participants from the community/household (e.g., pregnant and lactating women, their partners and families, community members, providers, etc.) for the assessment through coordination with health facilities and CHVs
∎ Recruit eligible study participants, obtain informed consent, and carry out interviews as per the assessment guidelines.
∎ Support focused group discussions and in-depth interviews in their respective areas as requested by the management.
∎ Perform qualitative data collection, data processing, and data management activities.
∎ Ensure good data quality, organize and plan for analyzing the collected data.
∎ Maintain the highest standards for the protection/management of data per assessment guidelines.
∎ Daily communication with the Site Supervisors.
∎ Assist the team with the resolution of any queries related to data collected during interviews.
∎ Oversee and monitor field activities; identify areas of improvement and provide necessary assistance as and when required.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Knowledge and experience in research including qualitative data collection and data.
∎ Must speak and understand the local dialect of the northern region of Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
∎ Good understanding of public health issues.
∎ Good Team player and able to work under pressure in extreme weather
Salary: Negotiable
