Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ MBA in any discipline from any reputed university will be preferred
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for development and implementation of Supply Chain Policy, Procedures and Strategy aligned with organization goal.
∎ Responsible for the complete procurement function to ensure timely & cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, consumables & spare parts, ensuring best quality as per applicable standards
∎ Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement to successfully manage a highly fluctuating market demand
∎ Responsible for overseeing Demand Planning, Inventory Turnover and Control / Stock Count / Cycle Counting, Material Movement and Cost Analysis, Trend Analysis, Maintain Stock Re-order Level / Safety Stock, Market Intelligence
∎ Collaborate with Engineering, Cargo, Catering, Customer Service, Transport & Accounts Teams
∎ All import & export-related concerns are handled by this person.
∎ In order to determine the whereabouts of the vessel, contact the shipping line, suppliers, and indenters.
∎ Hand over the shipping documents, L/C, and other related documents, and keep an eye on the customs assessment, port, and agent fees for clearing the item.
∎ Examining and finalizing the C&F agency's supplied demand for duties, taxes, port fees, agent fees, and other payments.
∎ Contact the unit head, government bodies, or bankers for the collecting of transaction supporting documents, such as vouchers, SRO circulars, and policies, in order to ensure that the imposed rules and laws are followed. Assist in the settlement of quarries, as well as the application for the renewal of import & export-related licenses and certificates.
∎ Maintaining a record of L/C files and costing, as well as finalizing C&F agents' bills and insurance premium bills.
∎ Performs customs document archiving in accordance with legal criteria.
∎ Import & export clearance, customs, and documentation were all completed successfully, allowing the goods to be delivered on schedule.
∎ Ensure that all import logistical activities are completed in a timely manner.
∎ Maintain frequent touch with overseas suppliers, shippers, and local agents in order to obtain up-to-date information on the consignment's status.
∎ Must be well-versed on bill of ladings and other shipping documents, as well as the UCPDC.
∎ Payments should be followed up with the bank for import.
∎ Endorsement of the bank-to-bank documents is non-negotiable/Original.
∎ Implement process improvement across the supply chain function
∎ Responsible for developing effective supplier base / best vendor, maintaining efficient business relationship and conduct periodic assessment / review of supplier performance
∎ Resolve Supply Chain issues that will drive the growth and profitability of the Company.
∎ Inspire and motivate the supply chain team to go extra miles and bring results to achieve the company's goals.
