Responsibilities & Context
Regularly follow up on the company's VAT and Tax-related activities, including Mushak Forms 4.3, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, and 6.10.
Prepare and maintain vouchers, cash books, bank books, bill registers, general ledgers, and other financial and accounting records.
Monitor and verify petty cash payments, bank payments, journal vouchers, bills, invoices, sales statements, and books of accounts.
Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns and other related documents.
Ensure timely submission and payment of VAT with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain proper documentation and records for VAT and financial transactions.
Coordinate with other departments, including Production and Store, to ensure smooth accounting and financial operations.
Operate Tally accounting software and VAT software for accounting, VAT reporting, and record-keeping purposes.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
Practical experience in Tally accounting software and VAT software.
Sound knowledge of VAT and NBR compliance requirements.
Experience in preparing VAT returns, vouchers, ledgers, and financial statements.
