Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Food Science and Technology from a reputed institution.
∎ Practical work experience in Laboratory Settings.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To make random observations daily in all areas related to hygiene and ensure good environmental, food, and personal hygiene.
∎ To supervise quality control of all food production.
∎ Carrying out random laboratory tests of water, work surfaces, employees, and foodstuff received in USBA Flight Catering and supplied to aircraft.
∎ Ensuring proper cleanliness of Catering premises and pest control.
∎ Make awareness among staff about personal and food hygiene and conduct floor-level spot training for staff.
∎ To inform the Sectional Head through proper channels if any staff fails to maintain satisfactory standards of personal hygiene.
∎ Arranging procurement of materials from stores or from outside for laboratory testing and cleaning purpose.
∎ To check the expiry date and stock rotation of all store items daily.
∎ Check of receiving goods at receiving point.
∎ Prepare requirements for Laboratory consumables, materials, and equipment.
∎ To monitor and evaluate HACCP records daily and report the facts to the Department Head.
∎ Providing First Aid items in the boxes in the respective areas of the catering premises.
∎ Intimating Department Head or Superiors if any foreseen difficulties regarding hygiene are found.
∎ To carry out any other job as may be assigned by the Superior or higher management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Excellent computer skills especially in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
∎ Good communication skills both verbal and written
∎ Should have the habit to work under pressure.
∎ Work in a team
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 28000 (Monthly)
