Job Context:

∎ Location of posting: Placement will be on partner level and Dhaka Office
∎ Types of contract: Contractual
∎ Duration of Contract: Up to December 2021
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with Global Platforms
∎
∎ Support GP trainer to select participants for the capacity building on Decent work agenda, Youth and gender responsive public services, & Participatory democracy;
∎ Coaching and mentoring of the selected participants to be as associate training of GPB;
∎ Hands on support to the associate trainers to enhance their capacity on training facilitation and knowledge sharing;
∎ Support to the Associate Trainers on how to develop implementation plan of small-scale interventions;
∎ Work with trained participants to implement action plan;
∎ Provide continuous and connected hands on capacity building technical support for young people, Youth groups and Activista with digital campaign related activities;
∎ Hands on support with the number of Activista at National and Partners on how to facilitate online campaign for the cause;
∎ Hands on support for developing online materials;
∎ Hands on support to the Activista for developing plan to capture momentum;
∎ Working with key Activista for taking lead on youth hub activities;
∎ Provide mentoring support for effective planning of hub event;
∎ Linking GP trained participants, Actvista member and other youth led volunteers.
∎ Work with Network
∎
∎ Support the activities of GP with the other partners organization working to enhance leadership skill development.
∎ Individual competence development and participation in learning networks
∎
∎ Initiate cross learning activities among training participants, activista & other Inspirators;
∎ Collect and document learning.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferable - Knowledge on democratic culture, social cohesion, pluralism.
∎ Minimum 1 year of professional experience preferably around youth work, particularly in the areas of volunteer management, knowledge management and communication.
∎ Good command in Bangla and English
∎ Communications
∎ Advocacy and networking
∎ Capacity needs assessment and development
∎ Youth community mobilisation
∎ Knowledge about participatory democracy and social cohesion.
∎ Innovative knowledge management processes
∎ Video and photo editing (preferred)
Salary:
∎ BDT. 44226 whereas Per Diems Monthly: BDT. 19201 and Accommodation: BDT. 25025.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Moreover, Group Life Insurance and Medical Allowance will be covered.
