Job Context:
∎ Resource Integration Centre (RIC) is a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC is going to implement a project “Fresh Food Corners/Market Linkage” supported by World Food Programme (WFP). The project’s implementation areas are Ramu and Ukhiya Upazila under Cox’s Bazar district. RIC is seeking application from the potential candidate for the below mentioned position:
∎ Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (1)
∎ PROJECT: Fresh Food Corners/Market Linkage, WFP Location: Ramu and Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Grade/Scale: V/13
∎ Post type: Initial Contract (April’ 2022 – September’ 2022) expected to be renewed till December’ 2022
∎ Appointment: Immediate
∎ SCOPE OF ROLE:
∎ • Staff reportable to: Project Manager
∎ • Staff maintain liaison with: Field Coordinator, Project Assistant-Technical, AAAO, Field Officer, Field Assistant and WFP Officials
∎ • Staff based at Ramu, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ • Working Hours & Location: Eight hours and will work 6 days a week

Job Responsibilities:
∎ OVERALL, ROLE OF THIS POSITION:
∎ Implement an MEL strategy outlining M&E systems for data collection, targeting and tracking custom indicators, knowledge management, and impact assessments, learning activities and reporting in compliance with the requirements provided in the Activity.
∎ Plan and conduct routine assessments that track, analyze, and synthesize project data useful for program learning and adaptive management;
∎ Through regular review of monitoring data, organize and lead periodic learning days and annual learning summits to enable managers to identify successes and make decisions about adapting activities and approaches to achieve results.
∎ Receive and check monthly reports from field teams; ask clarification, further information from the field teams.
∎ Documenting and archiving all the project reports, memorandums and materials related to the project.
∎ Conduct field monitoring and quality verification of project implementation.
∎ Present Evaluation and Learning findings.
∎ Collaborate with the Finance, Operations, and Compliance Unit to develop a system to track and report cost-related data for each program element to reinforce financial and budgetary strategies and allocations during planning periods;
∎ Work with Field Officers and Field Assistants to ensure the collection of relevant and appropriate data needs for an effective M&E system which will be utilized in monitoring strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in existing projects/programmes.
∎ Collect projects/programme reports (monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, and annual) for donors.
∎ Analyze the impact of projects and promote learning by documentation of best practices and use this information to support the decision-making process.
∎ KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTIBILITIES:
∎ A. The MEO Officer will be responsible for regular monitoring in compliance with project M&E systems.
∎ B. Responsible for regular market linkage tracing, writing and reporting;
∎ C. Other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ WORKING EXPERIENCES:
∎ At least 3-5 years of relevant experience at the national or international level.
∎ Experience with a UN Agency, International NGO or donor agencies is highly desirable.
∎ Demonstrated experience in project writing and reporting.
∎ Have experience in host community.
∎ JOB RELATED KONWLEDGE:
∎ Computer software skill (MS-Word, Excel and Access, SPSS, etc.). Experienced on market system/linkages.
∎ NECESSARY SKILLS:
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments.
∎ Good report writing in English.
∎ Fluency in Bengali and English is required. A Chittagong local language is preferable.
∎ Computer software skill (MS-Word, Excel and Access, SPSS, etc.). Experienced on computer application.
∎ Excellent E-mail communication both with donors and partners.
∎ Habituated to extensive field work
∎ Need reporting skills and mail communication to WFP

Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
