Responsibilities & Context
Manage day-to-day procurement of engineering items, factory consumables, and spare parts.
Collect and evaluate quotations, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, good quality, and timely delivery.
Follow up on orders and ensure materials are delivered on time to support uninterrupted production.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while developing new and reliable vendors.
Keep procurement records and documentation properly organized for audit and compliance purposes.
Work closely with internal departments to understand requirements and ensure smooth purchase planning and execution.
