Educational Requirements:
∎ A Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with 2 (two) years of progressive working experience in Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) projects in urban contexts or Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 04 (four) years of working experiences in WASH project especially in urban slums.

Job Context:
∎ Nabolok is a Local NGO going to implement WASH4UrbanPoor Project at Khulna City Corporation supported by WaterAid Bangladesh funded by Sida. Nabolok is seeking application from the appropriate and qualified candidate who has the nationality of Bangladesh and has willingness to work with the extreme urban poor communities.
∎ Duration : Up to December 2022
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Experience in the design, estimation and construction of WASH infrastructure in urban areas.
∎ Responsible for providing technical supervision and guidance on the quality of work on WASH technological options at all stages of the project management cycles.
∎ Experience in the management
∎ Monitor and ensure quality of all hardware construction through extensive field visits in difficult project locations in regular basis
∎ Experience in developing and piloting of water technology/models for urban slums
∎ Experience in developing and piloting of water technology/models for hard to reach areas including urban
∎ Good understanding of water contamination factors, water testing protocols and safety & security at work places during work execution
∎ Regular report to management/supervisor regarding work progress.
∎ Responsible to lead, motivate and provide technical support to all field level project staffs
∎ Support in procurement process for the project related procurements
∎ Have efficiency and knowledge on field problems and necessary action to resolve them.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s) of progressive working experience in WASH projects
∎ Minimum 2 years' of progressive working experience in Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) projects in urban contexts, preferably with NGO's, working with low income people in urban contexts. Working experience on WAB funded project will be given preference.
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, MS word, power point, email and internet browsing.
∎ Creative sense on relevant constructive work in slums and institutions
∎ Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work
∎ Ability to ride motorbike with having valid driving license.
∎ Able to cope with stress and work under difficult circumstances.
∎ Have to be gender sensitive with sound knowledge and experience on gender issues.
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Annual increment depends on the extension of the contract, mobile allowance and other benefits will be given as project provision.
