Job Context:
∎ Nabolok is a Local NGO going to implement USAID funded Nobo-Jatra Project supported by World Food Programme. Nabolok is seeking application from the appropriate and qualified candidate who has the nationality of Bangladesh and has willingness to work with the extreme poor communities.
∎ Duration: Up to 2020
∎ Job Nature: Full-time and spend 60-70% time at field level
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement project activities as per project plan at concerning upazila.
∎ Work directly and consistently with local stakeholders to facilitate stakeholder involvement in activities, including but not limited to conducting orientation and review workshops with key stakeholders
∎ Coordinate and mentor the FFs to conduct Community Risk Assessment (CRA) and report writing, report compilation.
∎ Provide necessary support and assist in project data collection
∎ Maintain liaison with different relevant department and provide necessary support to UDMC and WDMC.
∎ Develop linkage and liaison with different stakeholder in fund raising to implement RRAP/CDMAP.
∎ Coordinate interrelated activities of the project to ensure better output.
∎ Prepare monthly report on progress and plan for the next month.
∎ Actively participate in any emergency response
∎ Prepare monthly action plan and develop annual work plan to run the project smoothly.
∎ Regular monitoring project activities and update project offices.
∎ Lead, guide, supervise and assess team members and provide all necessary support for staff development to ensure quality work at the field level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 42 years
∎ Sound knowledge on micro entrepreneurship, Business Development, RRAP, CDMAP, Gender Sensitivity and leadership development.
∎ Working experience on USAID/WFP funded project will be given preference; Strong decision-making ability, management and motivational skills especially staffs and rural communities;
∎ Willing to work in a team and in rural context;
∎ Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet browsing.
∎ Willingness to travel regularly at field/ remote areas;
∎ Willingness to work with team and have good leadership capabilities.
∎ Ability to ride motorbike with having valid driving license.
∎ Willingness to stay in upazila level.
∎ Willingness to work any upazila in Khulna District.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 40,425 including festival bonus
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Annual Increment depends on the extension of the contract, Mobile and travel allowance and other benefits will be given as per project provision.
