∎ A well-reputed non-government organization is implementing the WaSH Project. The organization is seeking application from the appropriate and qualified candidate who has the nationality of Bangladesh and has the willingness to work with Water, Sanitation and Hygiene related project at municipality level in Khulna.
∎ Job Location: Paikgacha Municipality
Job Responsibilities:
∎ (Specific duties include but are not limited to)
∎ Ensure community participation in planning and implementation.
∎ Capacity building of CBOs, Volunteers and other community members in line with sustainability.
∎ Ensure execution of soft and hardware activities with the involvement of CBOs.
∎ Monitoring of project activities and solving field problems.
∎ Able to take various kinds of sessions on hygiene promotion issue.
∎ Arrange and conduct need-based training of a different group of beneficiaries
∎ Conduct/ support in conducting sensitization/orientation on WaSH for community groups.
∎ Ensure primary selection of sites and schools and other health care facilities for WaSH services through donor guidelines and mobilize them for cost-sharing for hardware constructions
∎ Promote safe WaSH practices as well as appropriate use and maintenance of WaSH facilities and services.
∎ Responsible for capacity development of community on WaSH issues.
∎ Organize, supervise and evaluate the distribution of hygiene kit and water treatment kits and documentation of lessons learned related to hygiene behaviour of the working community.
∎ Make and submit monthly target plan of assigned work.
∎ Perform the responsibility as and when assigned by the project/Program Focal person.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 03 year(s) professional background in community mobilization.
∎ Minimum three (3) years' experience preferably with NGO's. Working experience on the donor-funded project will be given preference.
∎ Proven experience in administration and finance management issues
∎ Proven experience working with the team and supporting them to implement financing and accounting principles
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email and internet browsing.
∎ Have to be gender-sensitive with sound knowledge and experience on gender issues.
Salary:
∎ Monthly salary BDT 18,480 (gross) with two festival bonus and annual salary increment as per policy.
