Educational Requirements:
∎ The ideal person should have M.Sc degree preferably in Development Studies/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ any other department.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Nabolok is a Local NGO going to implement Slum Sanitation Solution Project in Khulna City Corporation supported and funded by SNV Netherlands. Nabolok is seeking application from the appropriate and qualified candidate who has the nationality of Bangladesh and has willingness to work with the extreme poor communities at slums of Khulna.
∎ Have ability to support frontline staff and CBOs in community mobilization activities, conduction of community situation analysis, preparation of community action plan, institutional assessment on WASH issues and reporting.
∎ Develop appropriate communications strategy to promote safe practices as well as ensure appropriate community involvement in the delivery of this hygiene promotion activities
∎ Have ability to ensure participation of community peoples and other stakeholders in planning and implementation and follow up continuity of the existing WASH Strategy
∎ Have experience to conduct day-to-day advocacy activities, in line with project output/outcome.
∎ Have ability to develop training module, curriculum and materials as per project need and assess training needs of frontline staff on facilitation skills and area of capacity building of CBO and other catalyst.
∎ Ensure quality of hygiene session, campaign and other awareness activities conducted by volunteers & front-line staff and provide feedback.
∎ Have ability to implementation M&E activities as per the project requirement.
∎ Ensure required reporting to donor and Nabolok in timely manner
∎ Provide technical assistance, coordination and logistical support to project and Community Educators.
∎ Meet organizational priority as and when required according to demand.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s) especially in urban WASH contexts
∎ Good report writing skills in Bengali and English using Qualitative data.
∎ Minimum 4 years' experience of social development sector preferably with NGO's, working with low income people in WASH sector. Working experience on WASH project will be given preference.
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including Microsoft excel, MS word, power point, email and internet browsing.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work, excellent report writing skill and speaking skill in both spoken & written in English & Bengali.
∎ Ability to ride motorbike with having valid driving license. For female candidate it might be optional
∎ Able to cope with stress and work under difficult circumstances.
∎ Have to be gender sensitive with sound knowledge and experience on gender issues.
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
