∎ A well-reputed non-government organization is implementing the WaSH Project. The organization is seeking application from the appropriate and qualified candidate who has the nationality of Bangladesh and has the willingness to work with Water, Sanitation and Hygiene related project at municipality level in Khulna.
∎ Job Location: Paikgacha Municipality
Job Responsibilities:
∎ (Specific duties include but are not limited to)
∎ Provide technical support to develop strategies and methodologies for the implementation of the project activities in close coordination with the municipality
∎ Coordinate with the donor's engineering team for assessments, designs and plans for ensuring standards set by the project;
∎ Assist the Project Manager to develop an implementation plan, cost analyses, technical activity-wise budget, specifications, etc.;
∎ Ensure development and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation framework
∎ Regular field visits to project areas for monitoring the progress of activities, verify the quality of work, cross-checking of designs and planning, implementation process and provide regular feedback to the team and vendors as required and ensure corrective measures;
∎ Preparing drawings of projects using advanced software.
∎ Produce quality reports independently to donor and relevant parties in a timely manner.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum three (3) years' experience preferably with NGO's. Working experience on the donor-funded project will be given preference.
∎ Proven experience in civil engineering and management issues at field level implementation
∎ Proven experience working with the team and supporting them to implement financing and accounting principles
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including Auto CAD 3D software, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email and internet browsing.
∎ Good communication skills and experience in working with community people.
∎ Have to be gender-sensitive with sound knowledge and experience on gender issues.
Salary:
∎ Monthly salary BDT 33,000 (gross) with two festival bonus and annual salary increment as per policy.
