Educational Requirements:
∎ The ideal person should have Bachelor degree in any discipline but social science background is preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have ability to mobilize and motivate CBOs in community mobilization activities,
∎ Have ability to take various kind of sessions on hygiene promotion issue.
∎ Responsible for capacity development of community on WASH issues;
∎ Arrange and conduct need based training of different group of beneficiaries
∎ Conduct/ support in conducting sensitization/orientation on WASH for community groups.
∎ Promote safe WASH practices as well as appropriate use and maintenance of WASH facilities and services.
∎ Make and submit monthly target plan of assigned work.
∎ Perform the responsibility as and when assigned by the project/Program Focal person.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The ideal person should have Bachelor degree in any discipline but social science background is preferable.
∎ Minimum 2 years' experience of community mobilization preferably with NGO's, working with low income people in urban slums sector.
∎ Experience of community mobilization, preferably in terms of promotion hygiene and health in any development organization.
∎ She/he is expected to have sound knowledge on health and hygiene messages and understanding on good practices related to water and sanitation activities at the community level.
∎ Ability to take challenge; willingness of frequent field travel; capability of working under pressure and excellent communication skill are essential.
∎ Considering prior experience and familiarity with local context education may relaxed
∎ Have to be gender sensitive with sound knowledge and experience on gender issues.
Salary: Tk. 15000 (Monthly)
