Job Context:
∎ Objectives:
∎ To improve nutritional status and enhance food security of FDMN Camp, Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
∎ To enhance access to food during all emergency situations
∎ To improve market linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities` small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Outcome:
∎ Increased food security, Save life, Reduced malnutrition and to end hunger.
∎ Output:
∎ The most vulnerable households in refugee camps and makeshift camps in Cox`s Bazar received general food assistance through e-vouchers based on needs.
∎ Improved Market Linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities` small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Enhanced access to food during emergency as part of Rapid Response (in-kind and hot meals)
∎ Project duration: 01 January, 2022 to 31 December, 2022 (Possibility to extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Manager will be solely responsible for project activity planning, operation, coordination with other stakeholders as well as GoB and donor officials and ensure smooth implementation of the planned activities.
∎ Develops inclusive plan and ensure programme quality and service and conduct daily operational monitoring, check quality of the food items, Post Distribution Monitoring every quarter, including important aspects of food security like Food Consumption Score (FCS), CSI (Coping Strategy Index), Household Dietary Diversity Score (HDDS), etc.
∎ Act according to the rules & regulations of the organization and ensure transparency in food distribution and coordinate with Donor representatives.
∎ Give proper direction if any sudden problem occurs in food distribution program & how to solve them and keep supportive supervision.
∎ Provide technical and management support, including logistical to make distribution successful.
∎ Ensure effective engagement of required volunteer, labor, porter and where required.
∎ Coordinate with different unit and attend in the camp coordination meeting and represent YPSA.
∎ Has to manage the retail outlets efficiently and effectively.
∎ Ensures all premises and equipment are safe, secured, and well maintained as per programme requirements, ensure effective targeting of beneficiaries including beneficiary tracking (inclusion, exclusion, relocation, etc.)
∎ Coordinates with site management, other NGOs and UN agencies both in Cox's Bazar and camp-level, and be an active participant in coordination mechanisms at camps' and Cox's Bazar levels.
∎ Update the beneficiaries list regularly following the Donor supplied formats.
∎ Ensure properly planned distribution schedule and invite them at appropriate time and location.
∎ Resolve all sorts of complaints received from Help Desk or at any corner immediately, in collaboration with Donor field representatives.
∎ Provide guidance to the distribution point staff-how & in which process the distribution activities will go on effectively.
∎ Submit the updated beneficiaries list after necessary correction with required commodity after completing a cycle of distribution.
∎ Ensure all kind of formats that are required for documentation of distribution well ahead of distribution.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Ensures best practices in Gender Mainstreaming, PSEA, Protection and Accountability to Affected Population in the GFA programme.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At most 7 year(s) relevant experience in NGO/INGO
∎ Age limit up to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience on Food Security Program and hands on experience of food security indicators.
∎ Must have working knowledge on Cash base intervention in humanitarian and development context.
∎ Must have working experience in Rohingya Camps and well conversant on about the context.
∎ At least 7 year of experience as Programme Manager or a similar role.
∎ Strong in English and capable to write quality report in English will be necessary
∎ Strong ability in problem solving and decision-making.
∎ Planning, budgeting, and financial management skills
∎ Team building, HR management skills
∎ Supportive supervision and motivation skill.
∎ Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation & reporting.
∎ Computer (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet etc ) knowledge.
∎ Knowledge of the local language.

Salary: Tk. 140000 (Monthly)
