∎ Relief International, headquartered in USA, is a leading international non-government organization working in 16 countries to relieve poverty, ensure well-being and advance dignity. We specialize in fragile settings, responding to natural disasters, humanitarian crises and chronic poverty.
∎ Relief International (RI) has been working in Bangladesh since 2004, implementing programs covering emergency response, health, economic opportunity, trafficking in persons, gender equality and youth empowerment. RI has been present in Cox’s Bazar since 2014 where it was implementing a trafficking in person’s project in Ukhiya and Teknaf supporting old caseload refugees as well as host communities prior to the large-scale influx. Since 2017, RI has scaled up its operations in Cox’s Bazar to support the emergency response by providing integrated, multi-sectoral programming for refugee and host communities, covering health services, child protection, SGBV. Relief International is currently implementing a large scale refugee response program in Cox`s Bazar in Bangladesh in collaboration with multiple partners including UNHCR.
∎ Relief International combines humanitarian and development approaches to provide immediate services while laying the groundwork for long-term impact. Our signature approach which we call the RI Way emphasizes local participation, an integration of services, strategic partnerships, and a focus on civic skills. In this way, we empower communities to find, design and implement the solutions that work best for them.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsible for direct day-to-day operation of Safe House (maintenance, supplies, logistic support, etc.) with professional and customer-focus manner.
∎ Ensure RI Safe House to be safe, hygiene and friendly.
∎ Assist supervisor to ensure proper staff management of Safe House, includes assist in preparing monthly duty roster, monthly roster management and roster monitoring. Ensure Safe House to run 24/7 properly as per duty roster.
∎ Will be responsible to response, manage and support in emergency situation actively and sensitively.
∎ Ensure to register and discharge process, maintain the case file, necessary documentation and client feedback mechanism.
∎ Maintain case files and all other official files and records in appropriate manners.
∎ Support 24/7 care for residents by following shifting management.
∎ Arrange & facilitate daily appropriate activities to customer considering their age, gender and Cultural Sensitivity. Responsible for all clients overall wellness and ensure standard of care to the clients.
∎ Ensure food supply in Safe House, timely and appropriately, food stock management and maintain consumption record.
∎ Ensure other relevant supplies and stocks timely, need based distribution and up-to date record of Safe House inventory.
∎ Assist supervisees in overall Kitchen management.
∎ Assist supervisor to ensure all Procurement related processes for Safe House.
∎ Maintain relevant Financial procedures for Safe House.
∎ Update inventory and asset tracker monthly coordinating with SCO.
∎ Maintain necessary and good communication with other RI departments, Partner organizations, clients and co-worker.
∎ Direct and close supervise to Safe House Cooks, Cleaners, Drivers and Security guards. Assign staffs’ responsibility and monitoring and follow up the regular activities.
∎ Arrange monthly meeting with the supervisees.
∎ Work on Performance appraisal for direct supervisees.
∎ Work on capacity building plan/s for supervisees (Cooks & Cleaners).
∎ Develop monthly work plan, assist supervisor to work on Monthly Report.
∎ Ensure recognized international best practices & RI key policies, Code of Conduct and the rules and regulations of Safe House Management.
∎ Program related responsibilities:
∎ Actively and appropriately response to different referral requests over Safe House Hotline.
∎ Ensure Safe House referral process: Admission, registration, and discharge process as per guideline.
∎ Assist other Safe House Assistants in Preparing and maintaining individual client’s care plan. Held client meeting on regular basis and keep team updated.
∎ Arrange daily appropriate activities to customer considering their age, gender and culture sensitivity. Prepare session-activity plan for Safe House assistants with residents.
∎ Facilitate communication and transportation to customer to access to other services providers (includes referring agency, health facility, doctor, psychologist, etc.) when required.
∎ Ensure every resident in Safe House has met their needs and in healthy both physically and mentally.
∎ Responsible for all residents’ overall wellness and ensure standard of care to residents.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience of working in the sector providing care or service to patient/resident is appreciated. Experience in admin, management (Safe House/hotel/hospital) will be added value.
∎ Demonstrate warmth, kind and caring personality
∎ Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills
∎ Demonstrate multi-skill about recreational, edutainment and health-wellness and able to transfer knowledge to other who express interest to learn
∎ Cultural awareness and sensitivity
∎ Strong background and skills in management and admin
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively in written and spoken English
∎ Excellent communication skill in Rohingya or Chittagonian and in Bengali
∎ Enthusiasm to learn, Optimistic and friendly, and Flexibility
∎ Ability to work under pressure and Multitasking, Pro-active, and Hardworking
∎ Committed, patient and with positive outlook
∎ Safeguarding and Gender Sensitiveness
