• Strong knowledge of solar PV system components, on-grid and hybrid systems and inverter technologies.
• Ability to conduct technical site surveys, load assessments, shading analysis and rooftop feasibility studies.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, cable sizing, earthing, protection systems and installation safety.
• Ability to collect site data, prepare technical reports and document findings with photographs and measurements.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel and solar PV design tools will be an advantage.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for site visits and project assessments.
Responsibilities & Context
Visit customer sites to assess the feasibility of solar PV installations.
Conduct rooftop, ground and electrical site surveys and take necessary measurements.
Assess roof conditions, available installation space, shading and cable routes.
Collect electricity bills, load data and other technical information from customers.
Prepare site survey reports, photographs and preliminary system recommendations.
Coordinate with the design and business development teams for system sizing and costing.
Identify site requirements for mounting structures, cabling, earthing and electrical connections.
Support customer meetings, technical discussions and project follow-ups.
Perform other site-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
