Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/Master's degree in education or any relevant subject from a recognized University

Job Context:
∎ Duration: Up to 30 November 2025
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support education needs assessment as needed in the intervention target areas;
∎ Find out education related issues requiring an immediate or medium-term response and inform the Technical Specialist - Education (PIB) and Project Coordinator.
∎ Assist in capacity building of field level/camp level staff or volunteers.
∎ Track the progress of Education activities and provide regular updates to the Project Coordinator.
∎ Visit programme/project sites on regular basis to supervise and monitor basic education and learning related activities in the affected communities;
∎ Review, assess and update the education situation in areas affected by emergency (camps sites and host communities)
∎ Access the barriers for vulnerable groups including girls and children with disabilities, barriers for teachers/facilitators, quality of learning and teaching issues, conflict sensitivity, community participation and share with management and technical team.
∎ Participate in basic education programme review meeting at sub-district level;
∎ Gather and provide information for progress reports to ensure timely implementation of basic education and learning activities;
∎ Facilitate in identifying out of school youth and Adolescents for providing non-formal education;
∎ Document best practices and success stories for sharing the learnings;
∎ Support the monitoring and reporting the major concerns on education inside and around the learning centers/spaces;
∎ Ensure early and rigorous implementation of quality and accountability mechanisms.
∎ Design and facilitate capacity development activities/training for volunteers/facilitators in the areas of Basic Education/ECD/Youth Engagement;
∎ Support on preparing training Manual/Module for conducting quality training and others.
∎ Support reporting and evaluation of EiE programmes outputs, outcomes and results achievement
∎ Provide regular updates to the M&E officer through Project Coordinator (PC) on progress
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years job experience in relevant position of Education sector.
∎ Sound in communication with related Government departments & stakeholders.
∎ Motorcycle driving license (preferable)
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS Excel, internet browsing & e-mail)
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skill both in English and Bangla
∎ Having understanding and communication in the Chattogram/Rohingya dialect will be an additional competency.
Salary:
∎ 52,500/-
